Company History

BSA were produced between 1907 and 1912 in Birmingham and until 1939 in Coventry and Birmingham. After 1912, production was carried out by the group's subsidiary, Daimler in Coventry or BSA Cycles in Birmingham. Hence the similar parts used.

in 1933 the group's subsidiary Daimler in Coventry or BSA Cycles in Birmingham offered a sturdy 10 hp light car, which exhibited no fewer than six different body styles at Olympia that year. Built by BSA's Daimler subsidiary in Coventry, the 10hp was powered by a 1,185cc four-cylinder engine, which was driven via Daimler's signature fluid flywheel and a gearbox.

The engine is a 4 cylinder and produces 1185cc. The car has a 4 pre-select gearbox and the engine block has been overhauled.

History of this car

The history is that the BSA was taken over from the previous owner in Moldova, North Wales in May 2004. In February 2005 the car was driven to Biggleswade to a motorcycle restorer's workshop, where the engine was extensively checked and overhauled, including the steering rack, suspensions and other items.

Around 2007, the car took part in the local Glamis Extravaganza, a vintage and veteran car show dedicated to all kinds of transportation and machinery.
